Why does it suddenly feel like the Benefactor is just some weirdo with an obsession for B-grade horror flicks?

I need a date. I need a really nice date where we switch off what's going on and just... do date things.

UNSAID

Sometimes there were moments in your life where things weren’t really left unsaid, but words became surplus to requirement. Stiles had still been recovering from his ordeal with the nogitsune when they suddenly found themselves in Mexico. He was exhausted, he was confused, he was frustrated, and he was overwhelmed.

He sought out Isaac, and instead of saying anything, just pounced on him with a hug so intense it nearly managed to knock his werewolf boyfriend over. He buried his face in Isaac’s shoulder and just stood there holding him for a much-needed timeout on more crap hitting more fans.

BATTLE

There was always a constant battle with something. Stiles was beginning to become convinced he would end up with ulcers and heart problems by the time he was 21. Just when they managed to get rid of one force of evil (including his own possession), another cropped up with seeming more intent to cause more death.

He just wanted some days to his feet up, lay around in his underwear watching cult classics, and ploughing down as much sugary junk food as he could get his hands on, because he couldn’t remember the last time he was a normal kid.

Stiles' text conversation with Aengus was replaying over and over in his head as he got into his Jeep to go track his boyfriend down. Gus had this pattern of selective speech. The things he said could have many meanings, or could point to different things. It was like was often avoiding the main purpose of what he was saying to be purposely vague, but Stiles had learnt that it wasn't like that at all. Not even close. Aengus spoke openly, but it was just with a different knowledge base and mindset than general humans. His knowledge wasn't cut and dried, it wasn't black and white, which is why he never dished out his advice in laymen's terms. It was open to interpretation, and it got Stiles thinking. That was what he needed to do as an Emissary, he needed to be able to think outside the box.

Still, with Gus going on about expiring people without warning and hinting that Isaac had lost his shit over Malia, he was left really wondering what had gone down between the Sidhe and his boyfriend. Something had, he had been able to gather that much. Gus was different. His replies had a blunt coldness to them that could be interpreted as bitchy, but Stiles had a feeling it was more linked to Gus' abilities as opposed to be just being a bitch for the sake of it.

It took him awhile to track Isaac down, because stupidly, the last place Stiles went was Scott's place where Isaac was living. Stiles let himself in with his key that Melissa had given him when he was 10 in case he ever needed to come over, and he found Isaac in his room. Stiles stood in the doorway and knocked softly on the door frame to get his attention. "Was it as cool as the Skywalker/Vader showdown?"

Stiles never got to the point of going to Malia with Scott. Lydia had intercepted the whole thing and told Scott to go with Jackson instead. She figured it wouldn't hurt to take Stiles out of the equation and see if Malia was still as cooperative and amicable or if her sole ulterior motive was Stiles. That, and the fact that she wanted to spend some time with him and figured he could use some chill-out time as much as she could after the crap that went down in Mexico.

So, whether he liked it or not, he was having a girls' night in with her. She had just placed a foot spa down in front of him, she had lit some aromatherapy candles, and she was doing to sit here and give herself a pedicure right after she put a facial mask on both of them. She was stirring the thick, green goop in a jar before she held her hand up. "Uh-uh. Don't protest. We're doing this, and you're going to like it," she told him in a no-nonsense tone. "Feet," she added, pointing to the foot spa in front of him with the wooden stirrer she had been using in the organic face mask concoction.

After everything that had happened lately, Isaac had been more than a little on edge. But he had been kind of a jerk about the whole Malia thing, even if he still maintained that she was entirely out of line in her pursuit of Stiles. They'd explained to her on more than one occasion that they weren't living life in an animal kingdom kind of way here, and that there were things that you had to respect, like a relationship between two of your friends. It seemed to matter to her about as much as what the weather might be like in Abu Dhabi today -- which was absolutely not at all.

Still, Isaac wanted to make absolutely sure that Stiles knew that he did trust him... He trusted him with all of his heart, and then some, and he didn't want his boyfriend to think for a moment that he was going to let his jealously get in the way of their relationship. Stiles told Isaac the truth about everything, because he knew how important trust was in their relationship, and it wasn't fair to him to make him feel like he couldn't be truthful without Isaac freaking out.

Which was why he'd come to the Stilinski house tonight with a meal he'd actually cooked himself (well... with a little help from Melissa) all neatly packaged up in Tupperware containers and still warm. All of the food packed up neatly in a basket, he'd had every intention of going to Stiles' room and treating him to a romantic indoor picnic...

But when he let himself in, Stiles was nowhere to be found, and neither was John. But he'd been so damn sure that Stiles was supposed to be home tonight.

It was Melissa's idea to go out for them to go out for a drink to try to take John's mind off the fact that Stiles medical bills were coming in and starting to stack up. It was stressful, and perhaps lucky that currently their kids were off on a jaunt to Mexico that they knew nothing about because they had fabricated a story about shooting for another camping trip seeing as the last one ended in disaster. Once they got to the bar, though, they found Chris Argent sitting alone nursing a scotch on the rocks, so they couldn't just leave him warming a bar stool alone.

But when both Melissa and John mistakenly assumed Chris' broodiness was grief over Allison, they were soon corrected and found Chris spilling his guts about his illegitimate son, Jason, who was half Hale, coming to Beacon Hills after Chris had tried to get in touch with him in Atlanta where he lived with adoptive family. Apparently the kid had completely shut Chris down, and who could blame him? Then turned around and rocked up here. He was also apparently a werewolf from birth, and not particularly impressed that Chris was his dad.

Chris blinked and then gaped at Chris for a few moments. "You have a teenage son and you want our advice on what to do with him...?" he asked, seeking clarification over what Chris had just said. "I wouldn't piss him off for starters. There's nothing more frustrating than a teenager who has the shits with you and you managed to piss them off even more."

Jason's had enough of Malia's shit too. Can't say I blame him. Bitch says one more time she's going to leave any of us for dead, I'm ripping her eyes out with her own claws.

So this 'being in a pack' thing doesn't come with an instruction manual, right...?

SPEECHLESS

It wasn’t often that Stiles was rendered speechless, but coming face-to-face with a de-aged Derek definitely managed to make words somewhat surplus to requirement. But then, no one really knew what to say... or do. They had dealt with a lot in their short time as a pack, and subsequently learned a lot, but this was one of those true WTF moments that could never be pre-empted.

And Stiles being Stiles, seeing a younger Derek, he was faced with a peculiar urge to give the new teen a wedgie or a wet-willy as initiation into their world of teen dorkishness.

Just remember - no one drink the water. We don't have time for anyone to have explosive diarrhea. We don't need anyone pulling an Elvis and dying on the crapper... okay? Good.

This PSL/verse will mostly stick to canon as to PLOT. We will attempt to keep the characters involved in their current canon plots as much as possible.

However, we have no current canon ships in this verse and as such, anything ship related in canon will not exist in this verse. Our ships in this verse are listed HERE. We also have the characters of Isaac and Ethan still involved in our plots despite their departure from the show, and anything pack-related in canon will have also included Isaac and Ethan in our verse.

Finally, we have OCs here, and those involved in the pack will also be assumed to have been present for events happening in canon.

Jason had decided that he didn't like to be stressed, especially when it was emotional stress. He had this headache that just wouldn't go away, and even sleeping wasn't helping it. The whole road trip and then the talk with Chris upon his return to Beacon Hills, it was a lot to process. Keegan was the one shining light at the end of a dark tunnel here, but Jason just didn't know if this disconnected feeling this place gave him was enough to keep him here.

He was nothing like the rest of them. They were one damn solid pack, and at this point, he wasn't sure he wanted to even begin to infiltrate that. Their pack was almost... cliquey in a way. He hated cliques at school. They were one of the reasons he quit the fucking place. The smart girl, the nerds, the mean girls, the jocks. The list went on. None of which he fitted into and he was feeling exactly the same here. Sure, they were all welcoming to people in their pack, but not after an epic fuck ton of analysis of them. For Jason, it didn't matter trying to fit into a pack his brother was in if he and his brother couldn't even carry on a decent conversation.

He was sitting in the local diner with a strong coffee in front of him, listening to the jukebox playing old rock classics. It was one place they didn't care if you smoked inside, so long as you sat at one of the back booths, so here he was, cigarette in hand as he tried to work out whether the hell he was going to stay in this town or whether, come morning, he would just cut his losses and leave.

Jason had been exhausted when the posse arrived back to Beacon Hills, and Derek dropped him off back at his father's home. Chris had been doing something in the living room - crying over his dead daughter's photo or something most likely - and Jason just threw a bland 'I'm back', in at him before going up to the guest room Chris had insisted he stay in when he arrived. He wasn't in the mood to play happy families or offer sympathy over the chick who got to stay in her father's life before she wasn't a werewolf whilst Jason had been turfed out like old furniture. He wasn't sure how he was feeling about his situation after the trip. He sat through another conversation-less trip with Derek. The only thing stopping him going back to Atlanta was Keegan.

It was Keegan he had been texting the whole trip home. Maybe that was why Derek hadn't instigated any conversation, but Jason would have talked to his brother if he wanted him to. When no conversation came, he just continued texting with Keegan, during which he had asked the Elemental on a date when they got back to Beacon Hills. Keegan had accepted and it gave Jason a happy feeling inside to war with the rest of the flat uncertainty about whether he belonged here. He had gone up to the bedroom, tossed his bag on the floor and as soon as he laid down, he went out like a light.

BURY

Stiles had racked up many hard days in his life, but none really came close to as hard as the day he had to watch them bury his mother. He hadn’t slept in days, and it was the first time he ended up catatonic by the time the casket was lowered into the ground. His dad had to dress him, when people talked to him, it was like his ears were blocked and he couldn’t hear.

Sometimes, he still couldn’t believe she was gone. Sometimes, he didn’t know how he really picked himself up and just kept going on again.
